Data Analyst, Sustainability Operations

Akkodis is seeking Data Analyst for a remote 6-12 month contract role. The ideal candidate with have a passion for energy sustainability and conservation. The Sustainability Operations Data Analyst plays a crucial role in advancing sustainability efforts at the company. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to collect, analyze, and communicate the company’s environmental sustainability data and metrics such as energy, emissions, water, and waste. The goal is to drive positive environmental impact and contribute to the organization’s Carbon Neutral Program. In addition, this role also plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the Sustainability capital project portfolio, energy analytics, and benchmarking program including enhanced visualizations and key performance indicator development. This position involves analyzing data related to capital investments, project timelines, and key sustainability metrics. The goal is to enhance program efficiency, data accuracy, and successful execution to meet program targets.

 

Pay/Salary Range: $50.00/hour - $55.00/hour

 

Sustainability Operations Data Analyst job responsibilities include:

·         Building tools to analyze energy date from internal sites

·         Collaborating with various stakeholders to collect, analyze, and communicate Zoetis environmental sustainability data and metrics such as energy, emissions, water, and waste

·         Dashboard creation

·         Managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Bachelor's degree in sustainability, energy management, engineering, environmental science, data science, or a related field with 3+ years of experience

·         Experience with sustainability and/or capital project management, preferred

·         Proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, Excel required. Knowledge on Machine learning, data modeling, ETL and APIs, preferred

·         Proficiency in software tools for data management and visualization

·         Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Ability to work effectively across the organization and with external stakeholders
