    Akkodis is seeking a Data Scientist for a contract with a client in Westlake Village, CA. Candidates must have a strong mortgage domain background and deep expertise in enterprise data architecture to be considered for this role.

    Rate Range: $49/hour to 53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Data Scientist job responsibilities include:

    • Analyze large datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and insights that drive strategic decision-making.

    • Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems and improve operational efficiency.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable analytics solutions.

    • Design and implement data pipelines for data collection, cleaning, and transformation.

    • Visualize data findings using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Python libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn).

    • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and AI.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

    • Minimum 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics.

    • Proven ability to build and deploy predictive models using Python, R, or similar tools.

    • Experience working with large datasets, data pipelines, and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

    Pay Details: $49.00 to $53.00 per hour
