    Akkodis is seeking a Database Administrator for a contract with a client in Cincinnati, OH. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, and optimizing database systems, as well as ensuring data security, backup, and recovery processes are robust and effective.

    Rate Range: $53/hour to 56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Database Administrator job responsibilities include:

    • Install, configure, and maintain database management systems (DBMS) to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

    • Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and apply updates or patches as needed.

    • Implement and manage database security measures to protect data from unauthorized access or breaches.

    • Develop and maintain backup and recovery solutions to prevent data loss and ensure business continuity.

    • Optimize database performance and plan for capacity to support growing data and user demands.

    • Manage data storage, retrieval, and organization, ensuring data integrity and availability.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • 8–10 years of experience in database administration.

    • Hands-on expertise with Oracle E-Business Suite and application database administration.

    • Proven ability to install, configure, and optimize database management systems while ensuring robust security and data integrity.

    Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
