    Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Bentonville, AR. You will be responsible for developing scalable backend solutions and integrating with relational databases using ORM frameworks like Hibernate or JPA.

    Rate Range: $37/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Developer job responsibilities include:

    • Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java (6–8 years preferred) and Spring Boot framework.

    • Integrate and manage relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle using ORM tools like Hibernate or JPA.

    • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code, following best practices in software development.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality solutions.

    • Participate in code reviews and testing, ensuring performance, reliability, and security of applications.

    • Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

    • 6–8 years of hands-on experience with Java development.

    • Proficiency in Spring Boot for building RESTful APIs and microservices.

    • Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and ORM frameworks like Hibernate or JPA.

    Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour
