    Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract job with a client in Columbus, OH. Candidates must have strong hands-on experience with Guidewire Policy Center, including rating engine configuration and Gosu development.

    Rate Range: $44/hour to 45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Developer job responsibilities include:

    • Design, develop, and maintain rating and pricing configurations within Guidewire Policy Center.

    • Implement insurance product pricing logic using the Guidewire rating engine and Gosu language.

    • Integrate Guidewire applications with external systems using REST APIs, SQL, and middleware technologies.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and CI/CD pipeline integration.

    • Troubleshoot and optimize Guidewire components for performance, scalability, and cloud readiness.

    • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

    • 8–10 years of overall development experience, with strong expertise in Guidewire Policy Center and rating engine.

    • Proficiency in Java and Gosu, with hands-on experience in Guidewire’s data model, rules, and integration technologies.

    • Completion of L3 Guidewire Policy Center certification and familiarity with Guidewire Cloud deployment practices.

    Pay Details: $44.00 to $45.00 per hour
