    Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Columbus, OH. Responsibilities include implementing secure REST/SOAP APIs and managing gateway scripts, OAuth2.0, and SSO configurations in an Agile environment.

    Rate Range: $49/hour to 56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Developer job responsibilities include:

    • Design, develop, and maintain secure REST and SOAP APIs using IBM WebSphere DataPower and IBM API Management.

    • Implement cryptographic technologies including encryption, decryption, digital signatures, OAuth2.0, SAML, and SSO.

    • Configure and manage DataPower services such as multi-protocol gateways, XML firewalls, and web service proxies.

    • Develop and maintain gateway scripts, security objects (AAA, OAUTHJWT, Crypto SSL), and API security policies.

    • Collaborate in Agile environments using tools like JIRA or RTC and manage code with Git or Bitbucket.

    • Create and validate WSDL, XSD, XSLT, XML, and XQuery artifacts, and perform testing using tools like SOAPUI and Postman.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • 8–10 years of experience in API development, scripting, and integration using IBM WebSphere DataPower.

    • Client requires hands-on expertise in implementing cryptographic technologies including OAuth2.0, SAML, and SSO.

    • Client expects strong proficiency in Agile methodologies, version control systems (Git/Bitbucket), and tools like SOAPUI, Postman, and Swagger.

    Pay Details: $49.00 to $56.00 per hour
