Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Minneapolis, MN. Responsibilities include designing and deploying scalable backend services and troubleshooting complex issues across environments using DevSecOps and database optimization techniques.
Rate Range: $45/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer job responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Core Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful microservices.
Deploy and manage microservices in a cloud-native environment, particularly on AWS (EKS, EC2, S3).
Write and optimize stored procedures and SQL queries in Oracle DB for performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot production issues, implement hotfixes, and ensure system stability across environments.
Collaborate in Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
Integrate DevSecOps practices using CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, Veracode, and Sonar.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
8–10 years of experience in backend development using Core Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful microservices.
Proven experience deploying and maintaining microservices in AWS environments (EKS, EC2, S3).
Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and database optimization using Oracle.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
