    Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing RESTful APIs and working across cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure to build scalable, distributed systems.

    Rate Range: $42/hour to 45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Developer job responsibilities include:

    • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.

    • Write clean, efficient, and scalable code, ensuring high performance and reliability across platforms.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality solutions.

    • Participate in code reviews and testing processes, contributing to continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.

    • Analyze existing systems and recommend enhancements to improve functionality and user experience.

    • Stay current with emerging technologies and tools, applying them to optimize development workflows and product capabilities.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

    • Minimum 8 years of professional software development experience, including at least 6 years with Java.

    • Strong hands-on experience with Java (8–17), Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.

    • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and working knowledge of databases like MongoDB, Couchbase, and PostgreSQL.

    Pay Details: $42.00 to $45.00 per hour
