    Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. Candidates must be proficient in RxJava and public cloud services, with the ability to troubleshoot production issues and write high-quality unit tests.

    Rate Range: $45/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Developer job responsibilities include:

    • Design and develop scalable applications using Core Java and Reactive Programming frameworks like RxJava.

    • Build and maintain cloud-native solutions leveraging public cloud managed services.

    • Write and maintain high-quality unit tests to ensure code coverage and reliability.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in both test and production environments.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to follow software development best practices across the full lifecycle.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

    • 6–9 years of experience in building large-scale applications using Core Java.

    • Strong hands-on experience with Reactive Programming (RxJava) and functional programming.

    • Proven expertise in working with public cloud managed services and enterprise frameworks.

    Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
