    Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Richardson, TX/Buffalo Grove, IL/Woonsocket/RI. Candidates must have deep expertise in IBM MQ administration and mainframe operations to ensure secure and high-performance message delivery across business-critical applications.

    Rate Range: $49/hour to 57/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Developer job responsibilities include:

    • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications based on business requirements and technical specifications.

    • Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using appropriate programming languages and frameworks.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

    • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues promptly.

    • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and standards.

    • Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply best practices to enhance system functionality and performance.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

    • Minimum 3–5 years of professional software development experience.

    • Proven ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern programming languages and frameworks.

    • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering solutions aligned with business goals.

    Pay Details: $49.00 to $57.00 per hour
