Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Richardson, TX/Buffalo Grove, IL/Woonsocket/RI. Candidates must have deep expertise in IBM MQ administration and mainframe operations to ensure secure and high-performance message delivery across business-critical applications.
Rate Range: $49/hour to 57/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer job responsibilities include:
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications based on business requirements and technical specifications.
Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using appropriate programming languages and frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues promptly.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and standards.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply best practices to enhance system functionality and performance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
Proven ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern programming languages and frameworks.
Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering solutions aligned with business goals.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $57.00 per hour
