    Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Bentonville, AR. You will be responsible for building scalable backend systems using Kafka and Spark and managing data modeling and streaming pipelines.

    Rate Range: $45/hour to 60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Developer job responsibilities include:

    • Design and develop scalable backend systems using Java, Python, or Scala, with a focus on microservices and streaming data.

    • Build and maintain data pipelines using tools like Kafka, Spark, and integration platforms such as Automic or Airflow.

    • Work with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure) to deploy and manage applications and services.

    • Model and migrate data across systems, ensuring performance and reliability.

    • Ensure high standards of code quality and system performance, contributing to continuous improvement and optimization.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

    • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in backend development and data engineering.

    • Proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala, with hands-on experience in building streaming and microservices architectures using Kafka and Spark.

    • Experience with cloud platforms (GCP or Azure), data modeling, and integration tools like Automic or Airflow.

    Pay Details: $45.00 to $60.00 per hour
