Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Bentonville, AR. You will be responsible for building scalable backend systems using Kafka and Spark and managing data modeling and streaming pipelines.
Rate Range: $45/hour to 60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer job responsibilities include:
Design and develop scalable backend systems using Java, Python, or Scala, with a focus on microservices and streaming data.
Build and maintain data pipelines using tools like Kafka, Spark, and integration platforms such as Automic or Airflow.
Work with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure) to deploy and manage applications and services.
Model and migrate data across systems, ensuring performance and reliability.
Ensure high standards of code quality and system performance, contributing to continuous improvement and optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 6–8 years of experience in backend development and data engineering.
Proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala, with hands-on experience in building streaming and microservices architectures using Kafka and Spark.
Experience with cloud platforms (GCP or Azure), data modeling, and integration tools like Automic or Airflow.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $60.00 per hour
