Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Mount Laurel, NJ. The ideal candidate is responsible for building and optimizing data‑driven solutions across Python, PySpark, and database platforms.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $54/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data solutions using Python and PySpark to support large scale data processing needs.

• Perform hands on development with MongoDB, including schema design, complex queries, aggregation pipelines, and indexing strategies.

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuned datasets.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across the full development lifecycle.

• Troubleshoot and resolve performance and scalability issues across Python, Spark, and database layers.

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to solution design and technical discussions.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• 8–10 years of hands‑on experience in software development and data engineering roles.

• Strong expertise in Python development with hands‑on experience using PySpark for large‑scale data processing.

• Proven experience working with MongoDB (NoSQL) and SQL for data modeling, performance tuning, and complex query development.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $54.00 per hour
