    Akkodis is seeking a DevOps Engineer Specialist for a Contract to hire job with a client in McLean, VA(Hybrid). Responsibilities include implementing CI/CD toolchains for automated workflows and building advanced PowerPoint presentations and Visio diagrams to demonstrate technology architectures.

    Rate Range: $85/hour to $100/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

    Conversion Salary Range (if applicable): $122k to 153K/ Yearly; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    DevOps Engineer Specialist job responsibilities include:

    • Implement CI/CD toolchains for automated workflows and deploy Big Data and cloud-based infrastructures.

    • Build and operate toolchains including vision, design, execution, and operations leveraging agile and engineering best practices.

    • Create advanced PowerPoint presentations and Visio diagrams to present visions, problem statements, and solution designs.

    • Develop custom integrations between cloud-based systems using APIs.

    • Work with containers and Kubernetes in cloud computing environments.

    • Translate business needs into technical requirements and solutions.

     

    Must Have Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in MS PowerPoint, Visio, Agile Methodology, DevOps, Jira, Confluence

     Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud computing environments.

    • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Visio, Agile Methodology, DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and experience with container orchestration services like Kubernetes and Docker.

    Pay Details: $85.00 to $100.00 per hour
