Distribution Associate-Jr

Akkodis is seeking a Distribution Associate-Jr for a Contract job with a client in Austin TX 78758. Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the shipping and receiving and responsible for labeling would be a big plus.

The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Job Responsibilities include:

• Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may work out of a central warehouse.

• Uses computer system for tracking logging verifying and reporting.

• Follows shipping practices and procedures and transportation routing schedules and requirements.

• Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. (Un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products raw stock assemblies parts building materials office suppliers equipment etc.

• Verifies quantity weight and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system processes freight bills packing sheets and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.

• Responsible for labeling

• Warehouse experience in shipping and received

• Able to handle and coordinate case scheduling needs - Computer experience in e-mails, excel, word documents as well as run an internal S&N software program (very easily taught)

• Coordinate local courier runs and pickups -

• Deliver equipment to Hospital if/when needed - Scan in and out implant sent from warehouse to cover cases

• Qualifications Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• Experience Minimum 4-6 years

Pay Details: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
