    Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a contract with a client in Columbus, OH. Responsibilities include building scalable data pipelines and managing AWS infrastructure components such as S3, IAM roles, and EC2 instances.

    Rate Range: $45/hour to 53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Engineer job responsibilities include:

    • Design and build scalable data pipelines using Python and PySpark to support data-driven applications.

    • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure including S3 file systems, IAM roles, EC2 instances, and Lambda services.

    • Implement secure data solutions using AWS Key Management Services, Transfer Family, and Storage Gateway.

    • Automate infrastructure deployment using CloudFormation templates and manage Kubernetes clusters.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data reliability, performance, and availability.

    • Integrate CI/CD practices using Git and tools like Jenkins and Harness, and support data visualization using Power BI or Tableau.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.

    • 6–8 years of experience in data engineering and cloud infrastructure.

    • Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark for building scalable data pipelines.

    • Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, IAM, EC2, Lambda, and CloudFormation.

    Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
