    Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a contract with a client in McLean, VA. Responsibilities include leading Copilot adoption across engineering teams and designing prompt strategies that align with enterprise development standards.

    Rate Range: $41/hour to 60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Engineer job responsibilities include:

    • Lead the integration of AI and GenAI tools into banking and financial technology solutions to drive industry transformation.

    • Enable and support GitHub Copilot adoption across engineering teams, including training, prompt engineering, and workflow optimization.

    • Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using languages like Java, Python, Apex, or LWC.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals and compliance standards.

    • Create and implement best practices for AI-assisted development, including refactoring playbooks and prompt recipes.

    • Continuously assess and improve engineering processes to enhance productivity and innovation.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

    • Minimum 10 years of experience in software engineering, with hands-on coding in Java, Python, Apex, or LWC.

    • Client requires proven experience in developer enablement and technical training for AI-assisted development using GitHub Copilot.

    • Client expects strong knowledge of financial technology, AI automation, and the ability to drive industry transformation initiatives.

    Pay Details: $41.00 to $60.00 per hour
