    Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a contract with a client in Richmond, VA. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring system performance and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support and enhance voice network operations.

    Rate Range: $41/hour to 60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Engineer job responsibilities include:

    • Administer and maintain Cisco Unified Communications systems, including CUCM, Unity Connection, and Contact Center Enterprise.

    • Monitor and optimize voice network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of Unified Communication systems.

    • Support system patching and testing activities, ensuring updates are applied and validated regularly.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and vendors for circuit implementation, troubleshooting, and project execution.

    • Create and maintain technical documentation for standard operating procedures and system configurations.

    • Provide regular updates on task progress, issues, and system performance metrics to stakeholders.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

    • Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Cisco Voice Administration.

    • Proven expertise in managing Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Unity Connection, and Contact Center Enterprise.

    • Strong experience in monitoring and optimizing voice network performance, including vendor coordination for circuit implementation and troubleshooting.

    Pay Details: $41.00 to $60.00 per hour
