    Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Austin, TX(Hybrid). The ideal candidate demonstrates expertise in supplier quality, leads issue resolution and corrective actions, and ensures process controls and continuous improvement across supplier operations.

     

    Rate Range: $41/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Engineer job responsibilities include:

    • Lead supplier issue resolution and implement corrective actions

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop supplier improvement plans

    • Ensure robust process controls throughout supplier manufacturing

    • Assist in supplier audits and evaluate performance and capability

    • Document key learnings and drive continuous improvement initiatives

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent

    • 8–14 years of overall industry experience

    • Strong understanding of mechanical parts, assemblies, and ability to read technical drawings

    • Proficient in manufacturing processes and their interdependencies

    • Hands-on experience with problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, CAPA)

    • Familiarity with vacuum systems and related components (preferred)

    • Effective written and verbal communication skills

    • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint

    Pay Details: $41.00 to $60.00 per hour
