Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will build and enhance AI-driven applications by developing models, refining prompts, and integrating them into production environments.

Rate Range: $34/hour to $36/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement AI solutions using modern frameworks, including prompt engineering and model optimization.

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD automation.

• Integrate, monitor, and support AI models and DevOps pipelines in production environments.

• Troubleshoot Linux-based systems and optimize system performance and reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design reviews, deployments, and best practices.

• Document technical solutions and contribute to continuous improvement and team knowledge sharing.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 1–3 years of experience in software development, AI/ML projects, or DevOps-related roles (internships or academic projects acceptable).

• Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks, prompt engineering, and programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.

• Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux-based systems.

Pay Details: $34.00 to $36.00 per hour
