    Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Greensboro, NC. Candidates must have a CCNA certification and experience with Cisco Layer 2 & Layer 3 routing and Cisco wireless networks.

    Rate Range: $41/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Engineer job responsibilities include:

    • Troubleshoot and administer Cisco Layer 2 & Layer 3 routing and Cisco wireless networks.

    • Support IT cabling, infrastructure planning, and design, including tasks like cable patching, switch configuration/deployment, and port management.

    • Perform network maintenance, support, and refresh activities.

    • Manage and resolve issues for server room hardware components, such as rack servers, fiber, switches, and disk drives.

    • Provide Smart Hands support for remote teams and third-party vendor management.

    • Administer Windows server operating systems and manage server, storage, and backup systems maintenance.

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network and infrastructure support.

    • CCNA certification and hands-on experience with Cisco Layer 2 & Layer 3 routing and Cisco wireless networks.

    • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with IT cabling and infrastructure planning.

    Pay Details: $41.00 to $60.00 per hour
