    Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a contract with a client in Omaha, NE. Responsibilities include authoring installation work packages and coordinating hardware procurement and connectivity to support network expansion projects.

    Rate Range: $37/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Engineer job responsibilities include:

    • Design, develop, and test systems or components based on project requirements and technical specifications.

    • Analyze and troubleshoot technical problems, providing effective and timely solutions.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of engineering solutions.

    • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including reports, manuals, and design specifications.

    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols.

    • Continuously research and apply new technologies to improve efficiency, performance, and innovation.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.

    • 3–5 years of relevant experience in engineering, network planning, or telecommunications.

    • Strong technical knowledge of IP routing and transport systems, preferably in enterprise or service provider environments.

    • Proven ability to manage complex projects independently, including hardware procurement, installation planning, and cross-functional coordination.

    Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour
