    Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Plano, TX(hybrid). The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, SDA, and DNAC, and be responsible for configuring network infrastructure and troubleshooting complex issues.

     

    Rate Range: $37/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Engineer job responsibilities include:

    • Providing operational support for enterprise LAN, security, data center, and campus network platforms.

    • Installing, configuring, and maintaining network equipment using Cisco DNAC and ACI technologies.

    • Troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues across Layer 2/3, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP protocols.

    • Monitoring network performance and implementing enhancements to ensure high availability and efficiency.

    • Collaborating with vendors and internal teams to manage upgrades, firmware updates, and service improvements.

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering and support.

    • Strong expertise in Cisco ACI, SDA, and DNAC platforms.

    • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Layer 2/3 protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and VRF.

    • Experience with Nexus switches, Cisco ISE, and network automation tools.

    • Solid understanding of IP addressing, VLANs, VXLAN, QoS, and high availability technologies.

    • CCNA or higher Cisco certification (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) required.

    Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour
