Engineering Auditor

Akkodis is seeking an Engineering Auditor for a Contract job with a client in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. The ideal candidate must have proven experience leading engineering projects and be skilled in system design and testing, while also mentoring junior engineers.

 

Rate Range: $60/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Engineering Auditor job responsibilities include:

• Conduct technical audits to ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.

• Review engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports for accuracy and completeness.

• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions to improve quality and performance.

• Evaluate project execution against established engineering procedures and best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit findings and support continuous improvement initiatives.

   

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering audits or quality assurance roles.

• Strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements.

• Proficiency in reviewing technical documentation and engineering drawings.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with audit tools, reporting systems, and quality management systems (QMS).

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
