Engineering Program Coordinator

Akkodis is seeking an Engineering Program Coordinator for a Contract job with a client in Houston, TX (Hybrid). You will be responsible for overseeing program logistics, managing data administration, and ensuring hardware products are shipped and received on time.

 

Rate Range: $20/hour to $23/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Engineering Program Coordinator job responsibilities include:

• Manage multiple engineering projects across various disciplines (electrical, systems, mechanical) to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.

• Oversee the shipping and receiving of hardware products, track shipments, and ensure customers receive their equipment on time.

• Handle data program management, including administrative support for the Program Manager, assisting with tracking, reporting, and updating program data.

• Assist in gathering and responding to customer feedback, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Prepare meeting notes, test plans, and other documentation to support program activities and ensure proper communication across teams.

• Work with internal tools (such as those used for shipping and receiving) to track and manage logistics efficiently.

• Monitor program activities to ensure deadlines are met, while proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency.

• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and integration across different program components.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience (4-6 years).

• 4-6 years of experience in program or project coordination, particularly in engineering or technical fields.

• Experience with logistics and hardware shipping/receiving processes, including tracking and customer coordination.

• Strong multitasking abilities and experience with data program management and administrative tasks.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
