     We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled maintenance and unscheduled repairs on BBU production and test equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal machinery operation, provide technical support to production operators, and manage spare parts inventory. This role is integral in improving equipment efficiency, debugging setups, and supporting engineering teams with equipment testing and qualification processes.

    This is a full time paying between $55,000 per year to$75,000 per year plus benefits.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct scheduled maintenance and unscheduled repairs on production and test equipment to meet production schedules and ensure machinery operates at peak efficiency.

    • Provide ongoing technical support to production operators, including training and evaluating their knowledge of processes and equipment.

    • Maintain and manage spare parts and supply inventories, ensuring timely procurement and accurate inventory levels.

    • Prepare and analyze maintenance reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

    • Optimize setups and changeovers to ensure maximum equipment utilization and efficiency.

    • Develop and refine equipment maintenance documentation.

    • Collaborate with manufacturing and test engineering teams to conduct equipment tests and studies, supporting efforts to qualify new processes and verify existing functionality.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Associate's degree in electro-mechanical or electronic engineering (or equivalent experience) required.

    • Self-motivated and hands-on technician with a high sense of urgency and the ability to work independently or within a team.

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience directly supporting production line equipment and systems, including SMT pick-and-place systems, AOI equipment, reflow ovens, automated glue dispense equipment, and other automated machinery.

    • Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment issues.

    • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and principles, with experience in training and mentoring personnel.

    • Knowledge of and experience with equipment such as Universal Genesis platforms, Disco saws, Fico molding systems, BTU reflow ovens, and Asymtek Axion platforms is highly desirable.

    • Solid mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of pneumatic systems.

    • Proficient in reading electrical schematics and demonstrating electrical troubleshooting skills.

    • Experience in programming and debugging automated equipment.

    • Working knowledge of PLCs, servos, and industrial electronics is a plus.

    • Strong ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience developing detailed work instructions for maintenance and repair processes.

    • Familiarity with advanced manufacturing and testing systems, including laser markers, PCB saw systems, and molding machines.

    Pay Details: $550,000.00 to $76,000.00 per year
