    Akkodis is seeking a Functional Consultant for a Contract job with a client in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate responsibilities include gathering business requirements, designing SAP Finance solutions, and providing post-go-live support.

    Rate Range: $53/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Functional Consultant job responsibilities include:

    • Analyze and gather business requirements to design effective SAP FICO solutions aligned with financial processes.

    • Configure SAP FI modules (GL, AP, AR, AA) and ensure integration with other SAP modules.

    • Lead or support full-cycle SAP implementations, including testing, training, and go-live activities.

    • Develop functional specifications for custom developments and coordinate with technical teams.

    • Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.

    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and SAP best practices while delivering solutions.

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CA preferred.

    • Minimum 5–10 years of SAP FICO functional experience.

    • Proven experience in 2–3 full-cycle SAP FI implementations.

    • Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate business needs into SAP solutions.

    Pay Details: $53.00 to $60.00 per hour
