Golang/Python +AWS Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Golang/Python +AWS Developer for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX (Remote). The ideal candidate is responsible for responsible for building scalable, high‑performance backend systems and cloud‑native applications.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Golang/Python +AWS Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high‑performance backend services using Golang/Python.

• Build and manage RESTful APIs, microservices, and background workers, ensuring reliability and performance.

• Deploy, monitor, and operate cloud‑native applications using AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, ECS, and CloudWatch.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CodePipeline, or GitHub Actions.

• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure system stability.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product) in an Agile/Scrum environment while writing clean, maintainable code and performing code reviews.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.

• Strong hands‑on expertise in Golang (with Python exposure) and building scalable backend services.

• Proven experience working with AWS cloud services, including deploying, monitoring, and optimizing cloud‑native applications using CI/CD and DevOps best practices.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $53.00 per hour
