    Akkodis is seeking a High Voltage Battery Systems Design and Release Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Auburn Hills, MI.
    The ideal candidate must have a strong background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and hands-on experience with CAD modeling tools such as Catia or NX.

    Rate Range: $40.70 - $48.70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

    High Voltage Battery Systems DRE job responsibilities include:

    • Interface with cross-functional teams to design and develop functional solutions that meet design and interface requirements.

    • Develop and maintain DFMEA, DVPR, and FMEA documentation to ensure compliance with corporate standards.

    • Conduct CAD modeling and generate 2D drawings including GD&T using Catia/NX.

    • Lead supplier coordination, manage timelines, and support build and launch activities for HV battery systems.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited university (or equivalent); MBA preferred.

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive product design and development, especially in HV battery systems.

    • Experience with CAN/LIN bus systems, circuit analysis, and powertrain components.

    • Strong knowledge of DFMEA, DVPR, FEA, mold flow validation, and GD&T.

    • Proficiency in NX, Teamcenter, and MS Office Suite; experience with lighting simulation tools like SPEOS is a plus.

    • Green/Black Belt in DFSS or Shainin preferred; experience with CAE/CFD tools is a plus.

    Pay Details: $40.70 to $48.00 per hour
