Infrastructure Architect

Akkodis is seeking an Infrastructure Architect for a Contract with a client in Culver City, CA. The ideal candidate delivering scalable, secure, and highly available solutions across on‑prem, hybrid, and multi‑cloud environments.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Infrastructure Architect Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and govern end‑to‑end infrastructure architectures across on‑prem, hybrid, and multi‑cloud environments.

• Architect, manage, and optimize Windows, RHEL, and Oracle Linux platforms, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.

• Lead virtualization and cloud solutions using VMware, Nutanix, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Drive automation and infrastructure‑as‑code initiatives using Terraform, Ansible, DevOps tools, GitHub, and Citrix technologies.

• Ensure high availability, backup, disaster recovery, security compliance, and cost optimization across all infrastructure platforms.

• Provide L3/L4 support, lead root cause analysis, define standards and best practices, and mentor engineering teams while producing clear architecture documentation.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure architecture or a senior infrastructure engineering role.

• Proven ability to design and govern scalable, secure, and highly available on‑prem, hybrid, and multi‑cloud architectures with deep hands‑on experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Strong expertise in virtualization (VMware, Nutanix), automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, DevOps/GitHub), and advanced L3/L4 troubleshooting with a focus on security, compliance, and resiliency.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $68.00 per hour
