Inspector I, Quality

Akkodis is seeking an Inspector I, Quality for a Contract job with a client in Southington, CT. The ideal candidate's responsibilities include performing visual and mechanical inspections on materials and components to ensure compliance with specifications.

 

Rate Range: $18/hour to $20/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Inspector I, Quality job responsibilities include:

• Conducting visual, mechanical, and physical inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies per specifications.

• Following procedural requirements to maintain compliance with Quality System Regulations, including cGMP standards.

• Supporting document archival processes, including preparation and electronic scanning of documents.

• Initiating Non-Conformance (NC) reports when inspection results do not meet standards.

• Assisting with Non-Conformance (NC) and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) activities as needed.

• Accurately documenting inspection results and maintaining organized records.

• Participating in special projects as they arise to support quality initiatives.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required; Associate's or Technical Degree preferred.

• Previous experience in inspection or quality control is a plus.

• Basic computer skills for accessing and documenting information.

• Familiarity with medical device regulations and FDA standards is preferred.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
