iOS Software Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an iOS Software Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Cary, NC. You will be responsible for developing creative solutions that connect researchers to study participants while maintaining high-quality standards.

 

Rate Range: $73/hour to $78/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

iOS Software Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Implementing innovative solutions that connect researchers to study participants, while ensuring high-quality standards.

• Partnering with specialists and research leads to ensure well-organized study operations and meet project requirements.

• Crafting efficient, testable, and maintainable code, with a focus on clear functional specifications and design documents.

• Applying strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues that arise during development.

• Prioritizing privacy and security throughout the development process, in line with industry best practices.

• Balancing requirements for quality and meeting deadlines, while managing expectations across teams.

• Doing self-directed research to drive innovation and enhance the product.

• Working on everything from early prototyping to shipping finished features, contributing to the entire product lifecycle.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, specifically with iOS development.

• Proven expertise in Swift and Objective-C, with a strong understanding of software design fundamentals.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, along with experience in multi-tasking and self-directed research.

Pay Details: $73.00 to $78.00 per hour
