Akkodis is seeking a IT Operations Coordinator with a client located in Rochester, NY. Must hold a High School Diploma to be considered. Will eeview and prioritize overnight trouble tickets and system alerts and be main POC for a daily morning huddle to address current ticket requests. Will provide immediate support for critical outages or end-user requests, ensuring timely resolution or escalation,
Pay/Salary Range $18hr-$22hr.
IT Operations Coordinator job responsibilities include:
· Provide technical support to on-site and remote end-users, including front-line and back-end assistance.
· Prioritize, remediate, and escalate support requests based on business criticality.
· Manage trouble tickets, ensure prompt classification, response, assignment and regular status updates to end users.
· Maintain and update a comprehensive knowledge base.
· Provision accounts, applications, mobile devices, and network resources for new hires.
· Ensure organizational workstations are secure and updated with the latest patches.
· Diagnose and repair basic hardware failures, replacing defective components and installing memory, storage, or processors as required.
· Troubleshoot application and system errors, including email, operating systems, mobile devices, file shares, Microsoft 365, anti-virus software, and network issues.
· Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex hardware or software issues.
· Monitor and deploy security updates to ensure compliance and network security.
· Work with vendors to resolve outstanding software or hardware issues.
· Update the knowledge base with new solutions or troubleshooting steps identified
· Plan for resolution or follow-up on pending tickets to close out the day effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma is required.
· Minimum Three years related experience.
· Proficiency in managing and supporting: Windows 10, Microsoft 365 Suite, Apple iOS and iPadOS, Microsoft Remote Desktop, Meraki, Active Directory, and Print Servers
· Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, etc).
