    Akkodis is seeking an IT Project Manager for a Contract job with a client in Sacramento, CA(Hybrid). You will collaborate with project sponsors to determine and document project scope and vision and translate user requirements into functional requirements for developers.

    Rate Range: $65/hour to $67.50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    IT Project Manager job responsibilities include:

    • Collaborate with project sponsors to determine and document project scope and vision.

    • Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders and user departments through workshops, surveys, and other methods.

    • Prepare statements of work and project plans, including scope, deliverables, roles, and timelines.

    • Assist in conducting research on software and hardware products to meet project requirements.

    • Translate user requirements into functional requirements for developers and project teams.

    • Communicate changes and updates to business requirements to the project team and stakeholders.

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • College diploma or university degree in business administration, computer science, information systems, or a related field.

    • At least 7 years of related work experience.

    • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, and project plan development.

    • Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language.

    Pay Details: $65.00 to $67.50 per hour
