    Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer (AI/ML) for a Contract job with a client in Dearborn, MI. The ideal Software Engineer – Practitioner will develop Java-based solutions and support AI/ML pipeline integration within a GCP environment. Candidates must demonstrate strong Java proficiency and a desire to expand skills in cloud and machine learning technologies.

     

    Rate Range: $55/hour to $58/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Java Developer (AI/ML) job responsibilities include:

    • Develop and maintain Java-based applications and services.

    • Design and implement data processing pipelines for AI/ML models.

    • Collaborate with data scientists to integrate machine learning models into production systems.

    • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security in cloud environments.

    • Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement activities.

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

    • 2+ years of Java development experience.

    • Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

    • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and data processing pipelines.

    • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving skills.

    • Experience with version control systems like Git.

    Pay Details: $55.00 to $58.00 per hour
