Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer for a contract with a client in Charlotte, NC(Hybrid). You will build and maintain scalable backend services using Spring Boot and related technologies.
Rate Range: $45/hour to 51/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Java Developer job responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end and third-party systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and testable code, following best practices and coding standards.
Troubleshoot and debug applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies, contributing to continuous improvement and team collaboration.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development, with at least 3 years in Spring Boot.
Strong hands-on experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
Proficiency in integrating backend services with databases and third-party systems, ensuring performance and scalability.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $51.00 per hour
