    Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer for a Contract job with a client in Dallas, TX (Remote). The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications, with a strong focus on performance, responsiveness, and code quality.

    Rate Range: $45/hour - $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

    Java Developer Contractor job responsibilities include:

    • Design, develop, and maintain Java applications ensuring high performance and responsiveness

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications

    • Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure functionality and reliability

    • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality

    • Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and frameworks to recommend and implement improvements

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

    • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Java development

    • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and Java frameworks

    • Experience with unit testing, debugging, and version control systems

    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

    Pay Details: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour
