Java Full Stack developer

Akkodis is seeking a Java Full Stack developer for a Contract with a client in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate is responsible for delivering end‑to‑end solutions by developing robust backend services and responsive frontend components while working onsite with cross‑functional teams.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Full Stack developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end full‑stack applications using advanced Java, APIs, and microservices architecture.

• Build and integrate scalable backend services while ensuring seamless interaction with frontend components.

• Develop and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability of enterprise applications.

• Collaborate onsite with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical solutions, and support delivery timelines.

• Apply best practices in coding, testing, debugging, and performance optimization across the full application stack.

• Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of applications within cloud or platform environments such as OpenStack.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• 10+ years of professional experience as a Java Full‑Stack Developer.

• Strong hands‑on expertise with advanced Java concepts, microservices architecture, and Java‑based API development in enterprise environments.

• Proven ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, with experience in cloud or platform environments such as OpenStack.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
