Java Tech Lead

Akkodis is seeking a Java Tech Lead for a Contract with a client in McLean, VA. This role requires strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot) and Angular to design technical solutions, oversee code quality, and manage cloud-based deployments on AWS.

Rate Range: $56/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Tech Lead Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead and mentor a team of Java full-stack developers, ensuring high-quality code through reviews and best practices.

• Design and develop scalable, high-volume, low-latency applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.

• Oversee end-to-end application development, including architecture design, coding, testing, and deployment.

• Build and manage cloud-native and serverless applications using AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, and S3.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and Kubernetes.

• Monitor application performance, ensure system reliability, and implement security best practices across cloud environments.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

• 15+ years of experience in Java full-stack development with strong technical leadership exposure. 

• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and hands-on experience in designing scalable, high-performance applications. 

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services, DevOps practices, and building CI/CD pipelines with a focus on application security and reliability.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $60.00 per hour
