Maintenance Helper

 

Akkodis is seeking a Maintenance Helper for a Contract job with a client in Lee’s Summit, MO. The ideal candidates are responsible for assisting customers by handling a variety of handyman tasks with professionalism and efficiency.

 

Rate Range: $20/hour to $22/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Maintenance Helper job responsibilities include:

• Performing routine preventive maintenance tasks according to a set schedule.

• Conducting minor repairs on plumbing systems, electrical components, and interior/exterior finishes.

• Assisting with painting, tile repairs, and general touch-ups to maintain facilities.

• Operating scissors or boom lifts, ladders, and other equipment to handle tasks like light bulb replacement and banner hanging.

• Keeping facilities clean by removing trash and performing landscape maintenance as needed.

• Completing and submitting all paperwork accurately and on time.

• Coordinating with vendors and assisting with event setups and furniture moves as required.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• GED or equivalent; two-year college or technical trade school preferred.

• 2-5 years of mechanical experience, including basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Lift certification or willingness to obtain certification (scissor or boom lift experience preferred).

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
