Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an MS Customer Engineer for a Contract with a client in Smyrna, GA. The candidate has ability to troubleshoot Windows 11 hardware and software issues, manage and resolve tickets in ITSM tools like Remedy, and escalate issues while delivering exceptional customer service.

Rate Range: $26/hour to $28/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

MS Customer Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

  • Provide onsite and remote Level 2 technical support for Windows 11 desktops and laptops in a corporate environment.

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system-related issues while ensuring minimal user downtime.

  • Manage, update, and resolve support tickets using Remedy (Helix) or similar ITSM tools in accordance with SLAs.

  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher-level support teams following established procedures.

  • Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and system changes to maintain accurate support records.

  • Deliver professional, customer-focused support while adhering to ITIL and organizational best practices.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in a Level 2 IT support or desktop support role.

  • Strong experience supporting Windows 11 devices and troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a corporate IT environment.

  • Proven ability to manage support tickets, follow escalation procedures, and deliver high-quality customer service using ITSM tools such as Remedy (Helix) or similar platforms.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
