Akkodis is seeking a Network Construction Manager for a Contract job with a client in Houston, TX. Responsibilities include supporting project financials and ensuring timely communication with vendors and internal teams to meet service delivery goals.
Rate Range: $42/hour to $44/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Network Construction Manager job responsibilities include:
Manage day-to-day administrative tasks including creating purchase orders (POs), change management (CMs), and reviewing contractor invoices for accuracy.
Coordinate and review fiber splice packages from engineering teams and ensure proper distribution and execution.
Support project financials and milestone tracking, including forecasting, invoice processing, and resolving billing discrepancies.
Communicate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely execution of splicing activities and service delivery requirements.
Develop and maintain progress reports, track project deliverables, and escalate issues before they reach critical status.
Assist with ad hoc reporting and ensure compliance with operational KPIs such as OpEx spend, MTTR, and on-time installations.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in fiber network construction or telecommunications project coordination.
Proven experience managing administrative and financial aspects of network construction projects, including POs, CMs, and invoicing.
Strong understanding of fiber splicing processes, vendor coordination, and service delivery requirements in a telecom environment.

Pay Details: $42.00 to $44.00 per hour
