    Akkodis is seeking an NOC Technician for a Contract job with a client in Canonsburg, PA (Hybrid). The ideal candidate must have strong technical skills and customer service experience.

    NOTE: 2nd shift, 2 PM – 10 PM EST

     

    Rate Range: $25/hour to $33/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    NOC Technician job responsibilities include:

    • Prepare and submit zoning and permitting applications, monitoring progress and facilitating jurisdictional requests for additional information.

    • Collaborate with design teams to create permit drawings and construction documents, negotiating with jurisdictions to remove preferences.

    • Manage zoning and permitting tasks, providing timely system updates and effective communication with internal and external customers.

    • Serve as entitlement lead during customer meetings, understanding and articulating details of telecommunication municipal codes and Federal Wireless Facilities Deployment legislation.

    • Obtain and communicate zoning and permitting conditions of approval to internal teams.

    • Manage outside SAQ vendors and ensure proper allocation of permitting fees for reimbursement visibility.

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

    • Two or more years of experience in planning, zoning, land use, or the wireless industry.

    • Proficiency in preparing and submitting zoning and permitting applications.

    • Ability to collaborate with design teams and manage zoning and permitting tasks effectively.

    Pay Details: $25.00 to $33.00 per hour
