Operators Level I

Akkodis is seeking Manufacturing Operators for a Direct Hire position with a client located in Mesquite, TX. To be considered for this position you must have 1-5 years operating manufacturing equipment and perform task in the production area.

Also, must be willing to travel to China for 2 months of Training.

Pay/Salary Range depending on experience: $17/hr - $27/hr.

Must be willing to travel to China for 2 months of training

Manufacturing Operator job responsibilities include:

•Must be able to operate machinery and perform tasks in the production

•Complete all necessary documentation and reports

• Understand the operator interface system

•Report any defective materials or questionable conditions to the Production Supervisor

•Ensures Safety, Quality, Cost, and 5s standards are followed and met.

•As required, train and assist other operators with issues or difficulties.

•Ability to follow written instructions and take verbal instructions for multiple assembly tasks in a manufacturing shop environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•High school degree preferred

•Ability to work in different climates (cold or hot)

•Ability to work with others and to be self-directed

•Must be able to walk/stand for an extended period.

•Must be able to lift, push and move items weighing 40 pounds or more

•Ability to work overtime, including weekends, as required
