    Akkodis is seeking a Power BI Developer for a 24-month hybrid contract with a client in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact data visualization and reporting solutions that drive business decision-making across the organization.


    Pay Rate: $45–$50/hr on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

    Power BI Developer job responsibilities include:

    • Gather and analyze business requirements to develop Power BI reports and dashboards.

    • Design, build, and maintain complex data models and datasets in Power BI.

    • Create interactive and user-friendly reports, dashboards, and visualizations.

    • Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to refine report specifications and functionality.

    • Apply advanced data transformation and cleansing techniques using Power Query.

    • Write and optimize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for effective data manipulation and analysis.

    • Test and validate reports for data accuracy, performance, and user requirements.

    • Document report specifications, data models, data sources, and transformation logic.

    • Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior Power BI developers.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

    • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI report development and data modeling.

    • Strong skills in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL.

    • Experience working in Agile environments and with cross-functional teams.

    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

    Pay Details: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour
