Program Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Program Manager for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate is responsible for leading end‑to‑end privacy initiatives by partnering legal, security, product, and engineering teams to operationalize global privacy requirements.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Program Manager Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead end‑to‑end execution of privacy programs, managing planning, timelines, risks, and delivery of key milestones.

• Partner with Legal, Security, Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams to operationalize global privacy and AI‑related regulatory requirements.

• Implement and maintain privacy frameworks aligned with GDPR, CCPA, and other international data protection laws.

• Facilitate Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and maintain data inventories, data flow maps, and Records of Processing Activities (RoPA).

• Track, manage, and escalate privacy incidents, while supporting DSARs, audits, and regulatory inquiries.

• Drive privacy‑by‑design practices across product lifecycles and deliver organization‑wide privacy training and awareness programs.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• 8–10 years of experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, or program/project management roles.

• Strong hands‑on knowledge of global privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, and AI‑related privacy laws) with experience implementing privacy frameworks and conducting PIAs.

• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional privacy initiatives in technology, SaaS, or AI‑driven environments while balancing regulatory compliance with business objectives.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
