Project Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX/ Sunnyvale, CA. This role requires deep expertise in ISO 27001 controls to manage supplier risk assessments, remediation programs, and IT security audits while ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Project Manager Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage end-to-end GRC projects, ensuring on-time delivery, compliance with regulatory frameworks, and alignment with business objectives.

• Oversee supplier security assessments and remediation efforts, tracking risks, gaps, and corrective actions through closure.

• Implement and govern ISO 27001/27K controls, policies, and annexures, translating requirements into practical execution strategies.

• Coordinate IT and OT cybersecurity risk assessments, audits, vulnerability scans, and security policy reviews across manufacturing environments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional technical and non-technical stakeholders, communicating risks, progress, and recommendations clearly and effectively.

• Independently prioritize tasks, manage project documentation, and maintain high standards of quality, customer focus, and attention to detail.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline.

• 8–10 years of hands-on Project Management experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).

• Proven experience in Manufacturing (OT) cybersecurity environments with a strong understanding of GRC frameworks and controls.

• Demonstrated expertise in ISO 27001/27K implementation, supplier security assessments, audits, and remediation management.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
