Quality Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Quality Manager for a contract with a client in Mayfield, KY. Responsibilities include conducting supplier evaluations and audits and overseeing tool development and part validation through all trial phases.

Rate Range: $41/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Quality Manager job responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

• Lead internal and external audits, including supplier audits, and drive corrective and preventive actions.

• Oversee product inspections, testing, and validation to ensure quality standards are met throughout the production lifecycle.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.

• Monitor key quality metrics and generate reports to support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Train and mentor quality team members to maintain high standards of performance and compliance.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 8–10 years of experience in quality management within a heavy engineering or manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of forging, casting, machining, and sheet metal fabrication processes.

• Proven ability to lead supplier audits, manage APQP processes, and ensure compliance with material and welding standards.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $49.00 per hour
