Quality Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Quality Manager for a contract with a client in Winston-Salem, NC. You will be responsible for leading APQP implementation, tooling development, and supplier audits while ensuring fitment validation and ramp-up readiness through frequent on-site evaluations.

Rate Range: $41/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Quality Manager job responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement quality management systems and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

• Lead internal and external audits, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively.

• Monitor product and process quality metrics, analyzing trends and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and support new product development.

• Train and mentor staff on quality standards and best practices, fostering a culture of quality across the organization.

• Manage supplier quality performance, ensuring materials and components meet required specifications.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in quality management, Engineering, or a related field (master’s preferred).

• 8–10 years of experience in quality assurance or quality management roles.

• Proven experience in implementing and managing ISO or other quality standards across manufacturing or production environments.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage cross-functional quality teams.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $49.00 per hour
