    Akkodis is seeking an R&D Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Arden Hills, MN(Hybrid). Responsibilities include developing and executing packaging solutions for new products and managing testing and documentation in compliance with ISO and ASTM standards.

    Rate Range: $60/hour to $70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    R&D Engineer job responsibilities include:

    • Design and develop innovative packaging solutions for new products and improvements to existing designs.

    • Plan and execute packaging tests and experiments, analyzing results to support design decisions and ensure compliance with ISO 11607, ASTM, and ISTA standards.

    • Generate and manage technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports throughout the product development lifecycle.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including global engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams, to ensure successful project execution.

    • Translate customer and clinical feedback into product requirements and design improvements.

    • Lead packaging process and equipment qualifications, ensuring robust and compliant packaging systems.

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering or a related field.

    • Minimum of 4 years in packaging R&D, including at least 3 years in the medical device industry.

    • Strong knowledge of ISO 11607, ASTM, and ISTA standards, with experience in packaging process and equipment qualification.

    • Proven ability to manage packaging development projects, including test planning, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

    Pay Details: $60.00 to $70.00 per hour
