Senior AWS Cloud & .NET DevOps Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud & .NET DevOps Engineer for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX / Indianapolis, IN/ Boston, MA/ Seattle, WA /Portsmouth, NH. The ideal candidate is responsible for modernizing, containerizing, and operating scalable cloud‑native applications on AWS.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $51/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior AWS Cloud & .NET DevOps Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Architect, deploy, and operate scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using ECS, EKS, Fargate, and Docker for .NET applications.

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and AWS CDK (TypeScript) for automated, multi‑environment deployments.

• Modernize legacy .NET applications by containerizing workloads and migrating on‑prem systems to AWS cloud platforms.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch and Datadog to ensure high availability and performance.

• Enforce security best practices including IAM least‑privilege access, secrets management, and container security.

• Support agile delivery by providing cloud architecture designs, migration plans, deployment documentation, and operational runbooks.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in AWS cloud architecture, DevOps, and .NET application engineering.

• Strong expertise in AWS services including ECS/EKS, Fargate, VPC, IAM, CDK (TypeScript), and containerization using Docker.

• Proven experience modernizing .NET/.NET Core applications with CI/CD pipelines, observability (Datadog/CloudWatch), and secure, production‑grade deployments.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $51.00 per hour
